Pine Street Inn
Over the past 50 years, Pine Street Inn has evolved from a building on Pine Street in Chinatown providing ‘a hot and a cot’ -- a meal and a bed for the night -- for 200 men, to four shelters and 40 permanent housing locations, supporting close to 2,000 men and women every day.
Our goal is to support men and women in moving off the streets and out of shelter into a permanent home. Caring on-site staff help tenants reconnect with the community and ensure long-term stability and success. This journey is different for every individual, but through both innovative and time-tested programs - coordinated with citywide efforts - Pine Street supports men and women on a pathway towards greater independence.
