Product returns must be made within 15 days of the date you receive your order. Product must be packed in the original, undamaged and complete packaging. Previously installed, special orders or special modifications cannot be returned under any circumstance. All accessories, clean instruction books and warranty cards must be returned. Product that does not meet the criteria above or has been used, may, at Yale’s discretion, not be accepted as a return, or may be subject to a re-stocking fee in an amount representative of the condition of the product or its packaging. Yale reserves the right to decline to an exchange or accept the return of ANY product other than the product that is initially defective after the 15 day period. Refunds for products being returned will be issued once the product is received back at Yale and meet our product return criteria listed above. Product that does not fit will be subject to additional return and shipping/delivery fees and in some cases significant re-stocking charges may apply.
With the exception of special order brands, any on-display lighting fixture (same model, finish, etc) can be returned within 15 days for a full refund. The product must be in original, like-new packaging and not electrified. The following special order brands are final sale and not returnable:
- Hubbardton Forge
- Visual Comfort
- Northeast Lantern
- Modern Forms
To initiate a return, please contact your sales representative. All returns must either be shipped or brought to our Stoughton facility at 75 Campanelli Parkway Stoughton, MA. (Monday-Saturday 9-4). The customer is responsible for facilitating shipping and any associated expenses. Please ensure all returned product has a completed return invoice provided to you by your sales representative. Upon receipt and inspection of the returned product, the customer will be refunded the paid amount. The customer will be notified within 5 business days of receipt if there are any issues with the returned product.
For any product received that is damaged or defective, a claim must be made to Yale within 24 hours of receipt of the item. Please contact your sales representative.
For any product that is lost in transit, the customer must file a claim with the shipping carrier.
Any stocked product uninstalled, original condition and original packaging may be returned within 15 days for a full refund.
